YR5/6AD @RF put the finishing touches on their incredible clay sculptures, showcasing their creativity and hard work. From intricate designs to bold structures, every piece reflected the dedication and artistic vision of our talented students! However, as we evaluated our final pieces, we encountered an important lesson in sculpture-making – structural integrity!  Some sculptures, though beautifully designed, sadly broke due to thin or fragile areas. While this was disappointing, it also gave us the chance to reflect on the importance of thickness, support, and balance in our work. Instead of seeing this as a setback, 5/6AD showed great resilience!  We discussed what worked well, what we would do differently next time, and how learning from our mistakes makes us better artists.
