Year 4AC @RF have had a great start to the year! The children have been working hard to show the school values in class and around the school. In maths, we have been learning about 4-digit numbers and we are practising our times tables daily. In English, we’re writing our own fairy tales using Anthony Browne’s ‘Hansel and Gretel‘ for inspiration and we will share our stories with year 3 once we have published them. We are enjoying our class book ‘Operation Gadgetman!‘ by Malorie Blackman in our reading lessons and the children have been learning how to ask open questions to deepen their understanding of a text. In science, we made 3D models of the teeth. We learned that incisors, canines and molars are shaped differently to allow us to eat and digest food properly.
