In Year 2 RE @RF, we have been exploring the importance of hygiene in our science lessons. As part of our learning, we carried out a fun and engaging investigation to see how easily germs can spread. We used glitter to represent germs, placing it on our hands and then shaking hands with others. The children were amazed to see how quickly the “germs” transferred from person to person, helping them understand why washing our hands properly is so important for staying healthy.
