This week, Rec LT @RF have been very busy despite the hot weather! We have been finding lots of ways to stay cool, including dipping our feet into tuff trays and pretending we were at the beach – it was so much fun!

In Maths, we have been doing some fantastic learning. The children have been exploring number bonds to 10 using objects on ten frames, showing great confidence in their counting and number skills.

We also enjoyed a very special visit from Year 5, who came to share some of their wonderful poetry with us. Reception listened beautifully and thoroughly enjoyed hearing the older children’s creative work.

The sunshine has encouraged lots of calm and focused learning throughout the week, and we are so proud of how well the children have worked. We hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
