This week in RLT @RF, we have been learning all about pirates! The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the exciting story The Night Pirates and discovering lots of new pirate vocabulary along the way.

We talked about pirate ships, treasure, maps, and adventures at sea, and the children loved joining in with pirate role play and storytelling activities. They have been practising using new words in their conversations and retelling parts of the story with great enthusiasm and imagination.

The children especially enjoyed pretending to be pirates, speaking like pirates, and working together on their exciting adventures. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they shared ideas and used their new vocabulary during play and class discussions.
