This week in Year 1/2RE @RF, we’ve been busy exploring lots of exciting independent learning!

In English, we’ve been writing sentences about minibeasts, focusing on using conjunctions to add extra detail and information. All of this fantastic work is helping us prepare to write our very own non-fiction books all about minibeasts — we can’t wait to share them!

In Geography, we started by learning about the countries of the United Kingdom. Now, we’ve expanded our knowledge even further by exploring the seven continents of the world! We even created fact files to showcase what we’ve learned.

Can you remember which continents are near the equator? Or which ones are covered in ice? Which continent is home to pandas, and where would you find the country of Brazil?
