Year 6JR @RF have been immersed in a week filled with exciting challenges as they prepare for their SATs. This week’s focus has been on delving into the world of mathematical formulas, particularly those pertaining to calculating the area of triangles and parallelograms, as well as mastering the intricacies of volume for various 3D shapes. It’s been a journey filled with discovery and problem-solving, and the students have embraced the challenges with enthusiasm. It’s wonderful to see them engaging with these foundational mathematical concepts in such a hands-on and enjoyable way.
